Science Application for Risk Reduction!!!!!! NEWS
A scientist by the name of Sue Perry, developed a" tsunami walk flyer" to help raise awareness for a public safety drill this year. There is an awareness for Tsunami during the Week (March 23-29) There are people that will come to celebrate the 50th anniversary of an earth quake and tsunami that happened in 1964 in Alaska.I say yayyy for AWARENESS!!!!!!

Help on a Mineral!!!
So I found this at a "secret" rock shop here in Bakersfield ca and im not sure what it is the different colors caught my eye. I'm thinking some sort of an agate? Any answers????

Hello just here to GEO blog
Im kaley a full time student at Bakersfield College with a major in Geology.... This was a hard decision but i found what I loved and jumped right in so enjoy the few post I put up and feel free to comment or reply back : )
